Chris McIlvaine—Dixie Saw Works
EO Birmingham member Chris McIlvaine and his company, Dixie Saw Works, are preparing to double their footprint in the city of Birmingham. The company has invested more than $1 million in an additional 20,000 square feet of building space and about a dozen new employees. This new space will allow for robotic weldings and future process expansion.
Dixie Saw Works provides laser, plasma, and waterjet cutting services to both OEM suppliers and other companies in a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive manufacturing, engineering, industrial design, and much more.
A team of business leaders from Alabama has traveled to the UAE to strengthen business ties and explore new opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa.
